He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan (Gertrude Modell) and Gertie; his daughter Lisa Robin Modell; and his brothers, Sandy and Lance Modell.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Modell; his children, Josh, Christopher, Scott Modell and Jennifer Modell; his stepson Brian Severson; and his daughters-in-law, Christina Severson and Erin Hazard. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
