He is survived by: his children, Lynne Nelsen of Phoenix, AZ and Roger Nelsen (Cary) of DeKalb; and his grandchildren, Jonah Smith (Tanya) of Rockford, MI, Ashley Phillips (Robert) of Compton, IL, Shannon Smith of Phoenix, AZ and Wesley Nelsen (Alison) of Genoa, IL. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
