It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Salemi of DeKalb, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 27, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel R. and Angelina Salemi (Rubino); and his brother George Salemi. He is survived by: his wife Angeline; his children, Renee Payton (Ron) of Genoa, Andrew of Sycamore and Sandra of New Bury Park, Calif.; his grandchildren, Ronald Payton III (Megan), Luke Muraca and Lilia Hyman; his great grandchild Niko Payton; and his brothers, Louis Salemi and Samuel Salemi, Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
