As Thomas departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Thomas. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel T. Overton and Ruth E. Overton (Poole); and his son Scott. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Tom, Becky Lindemann and Steve Overton; and his sister Linda Overton. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren; his 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (2011 S 4th St, DeKalb, IL 60115). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wheaton Cemetery.
