She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Meile and Margaret Meile (Huff); her husband Merlin West; her sons, Robert Frankenfield and Randall Frankenfield; and her siblings, Robert Meile, Bud Meile, Christine Deets and Rosemary Wirtjes.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Heilemeier (Allen); her grandchildren, Mary McKinnell (Martin), John Heilemeier (Monique) and Tony West (Leann); and her great grandchildren, Anastazia, Siobhan, Daniel, Madison, Sadie and Tyler.
