Wanda J. Rutter Obituary
With sadness, we share the passing of Wanda J. Rutter of DeKalb, Illinois. Wanda, born on July 4, 1940, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Stroyan and Eugenia Stroyan (Lake); her husband John "Butch" Rutter; and her brothers, Robert and Dean Stroyan (Marilyn).
She is survived by: her sons, John Rutter Jr. (Polly) of Naperville, IL and Dan Rutter (Michelle) of Aurora, IL.; her grandchildren, Breanna Rutter, Broc Rutter (Tori), Rachel, Riley and Cole Rutter; and her great grandchild Lilly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Grace United Methodist Church of Maple Park.
