She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome McCarthy and Elizabeth Hilty McCarthy; her sons, Justin Gibbs and Michael Gibbs; and her sister Carol McCarthy.
She is survived by: her spouse Terry A. Ashby; her son Adam Gibbs; her grandchild Dillan Gibbs; and her siblings, Susan, Barbara, Pat, Kevin and Jerry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
