He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil C. Hammond, and Orva L. McMeen Hammond, Sr.; and his son Terry Hammond. He is survived by: his former spouses, Joanne Burns and Shirley Anderson; his wife Joanne Scott; his children, Theresa Fields of Houston, TX, James Hammond (Kim) of Florida and Kevin Hammond (Joe Harrison) of Decatur; his stepdaughter Terry Weiss (Rich Klein) of Manito; and his brother Claire Hammond (Jeanette) of Peoria. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
