He was predeceased by : his parents, Haskel L. Dorsey and Eva Ruth Dorsey (Meins); his siblings, Shirley Naffziger and Kenneth Dorsey; and his nephew Ricky Naffziger.

He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Giles; his children, Katherine Tracy of Morton and John; his daughter-in-law Kathryn Dorsey of Delavan; his grandchildren, Jill Williamson, Corey Dorsey (Brea), Ryan Williamson (Tricia), Amy Jo Wiliamson (Nicholas Conklin), Cassandra Tyler (Grant), Christopher Dorsey and Chelsea Burdette (Daniel); his great grandchildren, Benjamin, Noah Williamson, Grace, Anna Williamson, Ashton Conklin, Tayven Dorsey, Jaali, Eli Tyler, Austynn and Dax Burdette; and his great great grandchild Layla Williamson.

Memorials may be made to Delavan American Legion or Delavan United Methodist Church.
