It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Scott-Hammond (Delavan, Illinois), who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. Virgil E. White and Josephine E. White (Peck); her siblings, William E. "Bill" White and Susanne Weeks Hoover (White); her nephew James White Cabal (Marion J. Scott); her son Michael M. Scott of Hepzibah, GA; her great-niece Jill Marie Fogliano (Buffey); her grandson Jason M. Harris; her stepgranddaughter Melissa McCarthy Reesike; her parents-in-law, William and Clara Scott of Green Valley; and also, Cecil, Cecil Sr., Orva Hammond and Terry Hammond.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan E. Gibes (Joe) of Sunnyvale, CA and Julie L. Harris of Pekin; her husband Cecil C. Hammond, Jr.; her sons, Steven "Bruce" Scott (Sandra) of Delavan and David Scott (Chrystine) of Delavan; her grandchildren, Christopher Scott (Jodi), Dennis Scott (Jeanne), Tonya Fogliano, Patrick Harris, Breah Scott, Kaitlyn Scott, Kayla Scott, Michelle Gibes and Scott Gibes (Kelly); her stepchildren, Theresa Hammond Filed, James "Jim" Hammond (Kim), Kevin Hammond (Joe Harris), Kathy Hammond and Terry McCoy Weiss (Rich); and her siblings-in-law, Betty Weyhrich, Rita Scott, Eva Jeanette Scott, Clair and Jeanette Hammond. She is also survived by sixteen step-grandchildren, and twenty-eight step-great-grandchildren.
