He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Brown and Mary Grace Brown; his sister Jeanette; his wife Phebe Lois of St. Francisville, IL; and his daughter Eunice Grace Saathoff.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Brown (Martha) of Delavan, Esther French (Scott) of Wilmette and Paula Scott (Paul) of Pekin; and his son-in-law Mark Saathoff of Fort Madison, IA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren.
