With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ruth Kurtz of Delavan, Illinois, whose life came to an end on September 27, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Harris and Ada Goodin Harris; her daughter Susan Leigh; and her siblings, Marshall Harris, Phyllis Webster and Virginia Moldenhauer.
She is survived by: her son Kent Kurtz (Diane) of Delavan; her granddaughters, Lindsay Diekhoff (Eric) of Delavan, Kristin Kramer (Ryon) of Delavan and Kaylee Mathison (Andrew) of Delavan; her great grandchildren, Makenna, Kaylyn Diekhoff, Karsyn, Jaron Kramer, Emersyn and Wory Mathison; and her siblings, John M. Harris and Beverly Derry.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Delavan United Methodist Church (417 Locust St, Delavan, IL 61734). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
