She is survived by: her husband Don Bensen; her children, Michael, Dennis Bender and Susan Chavez (Cervando); her grandchildren, Scarlett, Bella, Jack and Jordan; and her siblings, Mariann Gowen, DeDe Unger (Mike) and Jimmy Hanson (Annie).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Raymond de Penafort Church (301 S I Oka Ave, Mt Prospect, IL 60056).
