He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret Wallace; his children, Margaret Longo (Mario), Dan Wallace (Ana), Jean Liavas (Peter) and Tom Wallace (Melonie); his grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexander, Marissa Longo, Emma, Ethan Wallace, Peter, Derek, Niko Liavas and Camryn Wallace; and his siblings, James Wallace, Ellen Ward, Margaret Harnett, Mary Ann Burns and Michael Wallace. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
