He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Airth and Emily Airth; and his children, Pamela Smith (Chuck) and Scott Airth (Rachael). He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Airth; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Smith and Calvin Smith; and his siblings, Kathy Seielstad (Jerry) and Fred Airth (Jeanne).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.
