With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Bruce Armstrong (Des Plaines, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Christopher "Bud" (Hilary), Sarah "Bean" (Jason) and Karen "Goose" (Tobin); his grandchildren, Jack, Paige, Maxwell, Freya, Adalyn, Joslyn and Lily; and his sister Audrey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation, ICU Unit, in gratitude to the doctors, nurses, respiratory therapists, and staff who became family in such a short period of time.
