He was predeceased by: his siblings, Mary Ann Reding, William Smith, Patricia Woods, James Smith and Elizabeth Sullivan; and his daughter Carol Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Alice; his children, Maureen Allen (Rod), Kathy Brenner (Keith) and Edward Smith (Barb); and his grandchildren, Christopher (Michelle), Aaron, Derek (Amanda), David Brenner (Madison), Jonathan Allen, Jenny Post (Bobby), Davis Allen (Hannah), Tim Smith (Becke), Andrea Smith, Danny, Patrick, Heidi, Raelynn, Camden and Keith.
