She was predeceased by: her parents, George Eggert and Juliette Eggert; her husband Tom; and her brothers, George, John and Bill.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Wenk (Steven); her grandchildren, Jessica Salgado (Javier), William Wenk (Jamie) and Kristina Wenk (Austin Swanson); and her great grandchildren, Miles, Bennett, Taylor and Rowan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the G. L. Hills Funeral Home (745 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church (9711 W Devon Ave, Rosemont, IL 60018). A burial was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Sheridan National Cemetery.
