The memory of Evelyn Prochenski of Des Plaines, Illinois, who passed away on September 24, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrzej Kotlarz and Anna Kotlarz; her sisters, Anna, Estelle, Florence and Josephine; and her husband Richard.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Chapetta (Tom), Christine (Perry Nelson), Anthony (Maureen) and Richard (Krystyna); her grandchildren, Anne Hoerer (Paul), Kelsey Stahl (Eddie), Katie Viken (Mick) and Anthony Prochenski; her great grandchildren, Paul, Faith, Grace, Nick and Joey Hoerer; her friend Claudine; and her son Little League. She is also survived by loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the G. L. Hills Funeral Home, Ltd. (745 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Stephen the Protomartyr Catholic Church (1280 Prospect Ave., Des Plaines, Illinois 60018).
