He is survived by: his children, George Paul, David, Larry and Linda (Larry); his grandchildren, Paul, Matthew, Tara (Michael), George (Krista) and Lana (Ben); his great grandchildren, Andre, Gavin, Penny, Rowan and Taylor; and his siblings, Lawrence, Luciano Jr. (Josephine), Christina (Mike), Eva (Benny), Maria and Michael (Terri). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

“From Chuck and Marlene Buntenbach, offer our sincerest condolences to the Medrano family. I first met Mr. Medrano in 1965 along with his son George, a fellow classmate. Used to go their house frequently. George Sr. was always working on something. Every time I'd speak to George Paul, I'd always ask how his father was doing. He will be missed by all. I know he liked his fishing up north and working on cars in the past. Again, condolences. R.I.P. with Cleo.”
