He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine (O'Connor); his parents, Walter McLaughlin and Aileen McLaughlin of Venosta; and his siblings, Peter and Mavis.
He is survived by: his children, Leanne and Steve; his grandchildren, Shannon McNally (Jeff), Lauren and Evan Reid; his great grandchildren, Owen and Lucy; his siblings, Judy Sullivan (Billy), Barbara Mahoney (Elvyn), David (Susan) and Allen; and his in-laws, Patrick Henry, Betty McLaughlin, Colleen McLaughlin (late Dwight), Lyla Carroll (Francis), Darlene O'Connor (Larry) and Brenda Lee Kelly (Barry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Church (923 Quebec Rte 105 #925, Low, QC J0X2C0).
In lieu of flowers, donations to either Hospice Care Ottawa or the Venosta Recreational Society would be appreciated.
