Jean Ungar Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Ungar of Des Plaines, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Nowak and Ada Nowak; her brother Johnny Nowak; her aunts and uncles, Irene Ehle, Alice Larak, Adele Skoog, Walter Klemz (Emily), Ray Klemz (Millie), Ed Klemz, Carl Klemz, Eleanor Lucksinger, Tom Nowak (Mabel) and George Nowak (Millie); and her cousins, Linda, Eileen, Elaine, Tom Jr., Greg and Dick.
She is survived by: her husband Bob Ungar; her brother Donald Nowak; her sibling's children, Frank, Melissa, Emily and Jessica; and her cousins, Geri, Judy, Lona, Sue and Ralph.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrews Lutheran Church (260 N Northwest Hwy, Park Ridge, IL 60068). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
