He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Perna and Giuseppe Perna; and his siblings, Sebastiano (Maria) and Pietro Perna (Giovanna). He is survived by: his spouse Mariella Santa "Maria"; his children, Michelle Di Novo (Maurizio) and Michael Perna (Debbie); his grandchildren, John Rocco, Sofia, Alexa, Tania and Antonio; his siblings, Vincenzo (late Anna), Salvatore Perna (Carmela) and Concetta Sauciuc (John); and his siblings-in-law, Rosa Pierini (Romano), Anna Saviozzi and Filippo Baratta.
