He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Vacala and Evelyn Vacala; his siblings, Margaret Cannella (Vacala) and James Vacala (Janet); and his nephew Nicholas Vacala.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Vacala (Alice) of Jacksonville and Susan Longo (Michael); his nieces and nephews, Michael Cannella, Mary Ellison (Vacala), Michael Longo, Charles Longo, John Vacala and Stephanie Johnson (Vacala); and his close friend Evie.
