He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Coleta (Maranan) and Fidel Castillo; and his siblings, Minerva Genovea (Miguel) and Antonio Castillo (Cecilia). He is survived by: his spouse Nefinia Castillo (Nacionales); his grandchildren, Donna Junia (Michael), Lauro "Reggie" Castillo (Arissara) and Dante "Bong" Castillo (Jennifer); and his siblings, Oscar Castillo (Jesusa), Edgardo Castillo (Ruperta) and Esperanza Gajo (Alden).
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial-Wojciechowski Funeral Home of Niles (8025 W Golf Rd, Niles, IL 60714). A prayer will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 9:15 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Ransom Church (8300 N Greenwood Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
