It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lynn Beaudette of Des Plaines, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Ruth; and her sister Janice Hirschauer. She is survived by: her husband Stephen; her children, Karin Velasco (Alfred), Michael (late Ethel) and Lisa Nguyen (Linhhai); her grandsons, Jeremy Binh and Wesley Bao; and her siblings, Robert Hirschauer (Ruth), Jeanne Bricker (late Richard), Larry Hirschauer (Jean), Ronald Hirschauer and Amy Hirschauer. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and dear friends.
Similarly, during the early days of the COVID pandemic, she sewed surgical caps for healthcare workers at her daughter's place of work, hoping to alleviate the difficult times with personalized art pieces that further highlight her generosity.
Inspired by a hat given to her grandson when he was in the NICU, Lynn began knitting baby hats to donate to Lutheran General's NICU, creating dozens of beautiful, tiny treasures for all of the babies there.
