He is survived by: his wife Maria Guadalupe; and his children, Rosa (José Luis), Rita (José), Dario (Yuliana) and Juan (Julia). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the River Woods Funeral Chapels (205 S River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A Mass was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Catholic Church (1012 Lake St, Evanston, IL 60201). A burial was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:45 AM at the Maryhill Catholic Cemetery (8600 N Milwaukee Ave, Niles, IL 60714).
