With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Moises Abraham Castillo in Des Plaines, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Zoraida Vazquez Abraham; and his parents, Migdalia Castillo and Abraham Ismael Aich. He is survived by: his children, Amed Abraham (Nilsa), Yalila Rodriguez (Conce), Sassha Rongholt (Michael) and Ahmed Aich (Ana); his grandchildren, Yashia (Peter), Krystal (Tedd), Ambar, Ariel, Avery (Michael), Jacob, Joshua, Megan (Tyler), Michaela, Hadid and Aisha; his great grandchildren, Brooklynn, Olivia, Jamison, Jaxson, Leo, Emma and Bailey; and his son Fadel Abraham. He is also survived by his three brothers and two sisters.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Matz Mt. Prospect Funeral Chapel, Inc. (410 E Rand Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
