It is with sadness that the passing of Nancy L. Schacht of Des Plaines, Illinois is shared. Nancy, born on November 7, 1946, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Nancy will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Nancy by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Nancy is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Nancy’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her sister Penny Soulak; and her parents, Carl Jurgansen and Carol Jurgansen. She is survived by: her husband Richard Schacht; her children, Jason Schacht (Sabina) and Karla Mannhardt (Sam); and her grandchildren, Marissa and Lex Mannhardt.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the G. L. Hills Funeral Home, Ltd. (745 Graceland Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
