She was predeceased by: her parents, Estle Shutz and Alma Shutz (Aldrich); her husbands, Floyd Dale Hargrave and James "Jim" Leon Grimes, Sr.; her daughter Doris Jane; her daughter-in-law Penny Hargrave; her granddaughter Stacey Hargrave; her great grandchild Rory Wayne Newman; and her siblings, Nadine, Eugene, Bonnie, Emery, Joyce and Ruby.
She is survived by: her sons, Floyd Dale Hargrave, Jr. of McLeansboro, Alex Schmidt (Eric) of Noble and James "Jim" L. Grimes, Jr. (Lindsey) of Mt. Prospect, Illinois; her sister Sherry Trefftzs (Jerry Shutz); and her grandchildren, Misty Hargrave, Amanda Schluessler (Brent), F. Dale Hargrave, III, Andrew Hargrave, Jake Swift (Addie), Joe Swift, Hunter Kiefer, Jackson and Brooklyn Grimes.
