She was predeceased by: her parents, Cataldo Mastro and Rosa Mastro. She is survived by: her husband Michael Semkiu; her daughter Rebecca Semkiu; her sisters, Nancy Stieber (Jay) and Julie Schatz; her siblings-in-law, Dr. Joseph Semkiu and Dr. Elizabeth Semkiu; and her daughter Becky.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Friedrichs Funeral Home (320 W Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056). A prayer will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Emily Church (1400 E Central Rd, Mt Prospect, IL 60056).
