With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rose Marie Carter of Des Plaines, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 23, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Zobjeck and Loretta Zobjeck (Serbo); her husband George Lee Carter; and her son Robert L. Carter. She is survived by: her children, Christine Carter of Des Plaines, IL and William G. Carter (Michelle) of Ewing, MO; her daughter-in-law Pam Carter; her grandchildren, Jessica Sanko (Daniel) of Tulsa, OK, Jennifer Carter of Tulsa, OK, Robert John Carter (Alicia) of Oklahoma City, OK and Benjamin Carter (Deborah) of Tulsa, OK; and her sister Arlene Thomas. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
