She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lewandowski and Mary Lewandowski; her husband Donald Argus; and her brother Joseph Lewand (Terry). She is survived by: her children, Donald Argus, Robert Argus (Dina), Darlene Joyce (John), Deborah (Paul) and Vair; her grandchildren, Aria, Elisa Argus, Sadie, Steffan, Lacey Argus, David Joyce (Carley), Brendan Joyce (Kate), Paul, Trevor, Tanner and Vair; and her great grandchildren, Sophia and Aubrey Joyce.
She served as a Des Plaines alderman for 10 years, was an Executive Director of the Des Plaines Community Foundation, and the Edward and Wanda Jordan Family Foundation.
