He was predeceased by: his parents, John Webster and Alice Lee Cairns (Rushing); and his brother Richard "Rick" Cairns. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Cairns; his sons, John Cairns (Ana), Dan Cairns and Ryan Cairns; his grandchildren, Madison, Agnes, Amile, Walter and Miriam; his brother Ron Cairns (Terry); and his sister-in-law Gladys Cairns. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
