With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin L. White of DeSoto, Illinois, born in Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on October 24, 2022 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Calvin L. White to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lowell White and Lilly White (Wisely); his siblings, James White, Frank White (Carolyn), Thelma Blumenstock (Howard), Sarah Jane and Mary Elaine Stewart; his sister-in-law Sarah Palmer; his brother Stanley; his sister-in-law Bonnie Copeland; and his great grandchild Brayden Galloway.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley White of DeSoto; his children, Michael White (Wendy) of Elkville, Larry White (Julia) of DeSoto, Karen Agee (Bill) of Centralia, Sharon Lee (George) of Carbondale, Terri McCarthy (Charlie) of DeSoto and Arlene Wells (Harold) of Eureka, MO; and his sisters, Linda Cummings of Lockport and Ruth Bowlby (Ed Jones) of DeSoto. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made in Calvin's name to Murphysboro Church of the Nazarene or Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the church.
