He was predeceased by : his parents, Jerome D. Nellis and Hazel J. Nellis (Sloan); his siblings, Steve and Donna; and his children, Joseph Dale, Joyce Ann, Kenneth Lynn and Christina Eve.
He is survived by : his wife Martha Nellis of DeSoto, IL; his daughters, June Nellis of DeSoto, IL and Michelle Nellis of Desoto, IL; his grandchildren, Dustin Knapp of Carbondale, IL, Jeremy Nellis of DeSoto, IL and Cheyenne Nellis of DeSoto, IL; his great grandchild Violet Rose Nellis; and his siblings, Robert Nellis (Margo) of West Frankfort, IL, David Nellis (Susan) of Ava, IL and Victoria Hatley of Carterville, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
