He is survived by: his children, Byrum Koester (Mallory) and Michele Lowry (Jon); his grandchildren, Dylan, Amelia, Olivia, Brandt and Payton; and his siblings, Judy Niemerg (Allen) and Rick Koester (Ronda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
