He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Lee Fleener (Bradley) of Bloomington; his nephews, Dustin Kuhnley (Ashley), TJ Nuernberg (Jessica Scholl) and Chad Nuernberg; his great-nephew Jace Kuhnley; his great-nieces, Samantha and Macey Nuernberg; his sister Terry Nuernberg (Tom) of Menominee, Michigan.; his siblings-in-law, Bruce (Terri Moeller), Kathy, Laz Szanto and Janice Dinsmore; Katie Vela Haupt (Dustin), August, Sue Schmidt, Paul and Susan Shimoff (family: Karol Brown, Christina Loy). He is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews, 19 great-nieces and nephews and 1 great-great niece.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (13204 N 2300th St, Wheeler, IL 62479). Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (13204 N 2300th St, Wheeler, IL 62479).
In loving memory of Lenny, memorials may be made to the Infant Memorial Fund at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
