He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Woods and Gladys Nolting Woods; and his brother Ira James Collins. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Bloome; his children, Gregory Woods (Sarah) of Carrollton, Illinois, Tadd Woods (Lisa Sevcik) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Megan Woods of Springfield, Illinois and Kendra Woods (Brett Bender) of Springfield; his sister Linda Schildman; his grandchildren, Melanie Woods (Nolan Dean), Hannah, Lucas Wagoner, Emily, Nicole, Jonathan Morris, Harrison and Simon Bender; and his great grandchild Reggie Dean. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests school backpacks and supplies. Memorial contributions can be made to the Pike County Rotary or Pikeland Snack Pack.
