She was predeceased by: her parents, William Shears and Elisabeth Shears (Mayer). She is survived by: her husband Leonard Emerson; her children, Melissa Layton (Jamie Stowers), Stephanie McDannald (Doug), Brett Emerson (Keeley), Prentice (Julie Brant) and Erika Campas (Mike); her brother Allan Shears (Pat); and her grandchildren, Dan Layton, Joe Layton (Jasmine), Colton McDannald, Mitchell Emerson (Mallory), Stephen Emerson, Josh, Everett Stevens, Breanna Williams, Taylor Stevens, Jack Campas (Bailey) and Cameron Reid (Jake).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Divernon Public Library, Divernon Fire Department, or Divernon American Legion.
