He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carl Riley, Jr. and Wanda Mae Riley (Solomon); his son John C. Riley, IV; his brother Paul Dean Riley; and his sister-in-law Bernice Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Riley of Dix; his daughters, Melissa O'Bryan (Billy) and Jenifer Hefner (Ryan); his grandchildren, Devin Riley, Kelsey Riley, Isaiah Riley, Triston Riley and Zoe; his great grandchildren, Emily Charlie Jenkins, Lucy Tarifa, Karma, Marceline and Kaizer; and his siblings, Rick Riley (Norma) and Diane Hall (Dean). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
