With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ella May Yates of Dixon, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleve Jellison and Lorraine Jellison (Hardy); her son Matthew Yates; her brother Joel Pickens; and her close friend Patricia Stuckey.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Yates (Jasey), Jennifer Loomis (Joseph) and Denise Yates; her grandchildren, Ben, Kim, Bryan, Jacob, Mackenzie, John, Robert, Ryan, Brian, Bethany and Gracie; her great grandchildren, Gabriel, Penny, Henry, Kinley, Caspian, Brenda and James; and her close friends, Heather Alexander, Connie Stephenson, Margie and Scott.
