With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James R. Lohse of Dixon, Illinois, born in Princeton, Illinois, who passed away on October 25, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy Lohse and Helen Lohse (Anderson); his stepfather Ralph Gallimore; and his brothers, Dennis and Gary.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Lohse of Dixon; his sons, David Lohse (Tessa) of Dixon and Roy Lohse (Kelly) of Dixon; and his siblings, Laura Pitzer (Dale) and Ralph Lohse (Julie). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; five step grandchildren; one great grandchild; and aunts and uncles.
