With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Janet H. Wedell of Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Sterc and Mae Sterc (Moutasek); and her husband James L. Wedell. She is survived by: her children, Ed Wedell (Trudy) of Dixon and Kathleen Wolfe (William) of Downers Grove; her sister Beverley Krause (Dennis) of Venice, FL; and her grandchildren, Will Wolfe and Lauren Alicea (Anthony).
A graveside service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (416 S Dement Ave, Dixon, IL 61021).
