It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Janet Lynn Songer of Dixon, Illinois, born in Danville, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 76, on December 6, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Songer and Jeane Songer (Jamison); and her sister Maryann Taylor. She is survived by : her daughters, Heather Reason (Lance) of Dixon and Jami Dunn Cannell of Rock Falls; her sister Bobbee Hawkins (Gregg) of Catlin, IL; her grandchildren, Katie Reason of Lostant, IL and Andrew Cannell of Rock Falls; and her great grandchild Killian. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Candlelight Inn (2200 1st Ave, Rock Falls, IL 61071).
