With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lazzetta Bruce of Dixon, Illinois, who passed away on July 2, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lazzetta leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Whetsel and Sarah Whetsel (Moss); her husband Charles "Charlie" Bruce; and her brother Martin Whetsel. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Walker of Dixon, Tracy Bruce (Janice) of Bettendorf, IA and Lance Bruce (Ellen) of Machesney Park, IL; and her brother Jackie Whetsel (Alma). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
