She was predeceased by: her parents, Theophile "Dewey" and Edith Rose Hymel (Abreo); her husband Ronald Farringer; her son Darrell Farringer; and her siblings, Milton Hymel, Albert Hymel, Earl Hymel and Theresa Tweed.

She is survived by: her brother Art Hymel (Joy) of Baton Rouge; her children, Ronald Farringer (Gwen) of Lynchburg, Sue Levan (Ron) of Dixon, Rick Farringer (Penny) of Lee Center and Rose Grygiel of Dixon; her daughter-in-law Nancy Farringer of Savannah; and her siblings-in-law, Rose Hymel, Sharon Lehman (Pork), Dewey Tweed and Jerry Farringer (Sue). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; several step-children, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
