She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Koch and Lydia Koch (Rudolf); her husband Clarence Paulsen; and her siblings, Harold Koch, Bernice Ploch and Evelyn Koehler.

She is survived by : her children, Linda Smith (Dick) of Dixon and Steven Paulsen (Janet) of Mill Creek, WA; her grandchildren, Molly Paulsen, Laura Paulsen of Mill Creek, WA, Lisa Mannschreck (Bob) of Renton, WA, Tracy Bay (Joe) of Dixon and Brian Smith of Grand Canyon, AZ; and her great grandchildren, Emily Bay of Dixon, Ana Bay of Milledgeville, Kristin Mannschreck and Erin Mannschreck of Renton, WA..

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Heritage Square, 620.
