He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Kenneth Speer and Violet Speer (Shelly); his spouse Shirley Cook; his children, Shelly Heyer (Jack) of St. Charles, IL, Mark Speer (Erica) of West Dundee, IL and Susan McGraw (late Joseph) of Amboy, IL.; his grandchildren, Katie, Sarah Heyer, Matthew, Michael Speer, Stephanie Galvan (Zack), David McGraw (Charlotte) and Shannon McGraw; his great grandchildren, Joseph McGraw and Roman Galvan; and his sisters, Marilyn McDonald of Lakeland, FL and Donna Watson of Capron, IL..
