She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Ory and Genieve Ory; her former husband Dick Jahns; her in-laws, Raymond and Marion Jahns; her sister Lynn; her brother-in-law Frank Maly; her brother Russell Ory; her son-in-law Paul Heyob; her daughter Angie Landmeier; and her grandsons, Ryan and Timothy Landmeier.
She is survived by: her husband Lewis "Fred" Whetzel; her children, Anna Mainhart (Tom) of Amboy, IL, Judy Reinhardt (Brad) of Shelbyville, IL, Dawn Griswold (Phil) of Dixon, IL, Richard Jahns, Jr. of London, KY and Monty Jahns (Chris) of Sugar Grove, IL; her sisters, Sister Carol Jean Ory of Milwaukee, WI and Donna Zynel (Jason) of Bonita Springs, FL; and her close friends, Carl and Harriet Washburn. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great‑grandchildren.
